Age Effects

As humanoids age they eventually become middle aged, old, and venerable, becoming physically weaker and a bit smarter and wiser learning some things as they live. Each race has different age brackets depending on campaign setting, decide when it is best for your setting, i.e. elves are truly immortal in my home campaign setting and do not age physically past 25 and never suffer the effects of aging. The effects of aging can never raise a stat above 20, nor lower a stat below 1, however the effects of age are cumulative.

Middle Age -1 to strength, dexterity, constitution; +1 to intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.

Old -1 to strength, dexterity, constitution; +1 to intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.

Venerable -1 to strength, dexterity, constitution; +1 to intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.
